I have argued at length about how this war is not to be won, but rather to be ended. I believe this something we must come to agree upon, or we will fail. But even more than that, what struck me the most as I wrote these essays was how, at the end of the week, I was able to fly home. They stay and serve. “America doesn’t feel this war.” The last in a series.
